The Old Town of
Krakow is
actually the original layout of Krakow as a city and is heavily
populated by Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture
While
the Old Town and in particular it's street plan owes much to the city
charter
granted in 1257, the area around Wawel hill that Krakow came to be
built on,
