On the outskirts of the city at Balice lays Jan Pawel II Krakow’s International
airport. Named for
Krakow’s favourite
son Pope John Paul II, this quickly expanding airport is soon to open a
second
terminal in late 2005.
Krakow-Balice airport is
serviced by a wide range of European national and budget airlines with LOT also
flying direct from
